Privacy Policy
How VidMake AI handles accounts, prompts, reference images, video jobs, and billing records.

VidMake AI and this policy
This policy describes the VidMake AI service at https://vidmakeai.com. VidMake AI is a browser-based video clip generator. It uses AI Video API, OpenRouter and external AI processing partners to fulfil generation requests. This policy describes the current product workflow; third-party providers have their own terms and privacy practices.
Information used to operate the service
- Accounts: the account details you provide, such as your name and email, authentication records, and support correspondence.
- Generation jobs: your prompt, selected duration, resolution, aspect ratio, audio setting, account association, provider job identifiers, status, and credit usage. These records support your generation history, job reconciliation, and billing.
- Reference images: an optional first-frame image is sent with your generation request. The current job record stores whether you supplied an image; it does not preserve the uploaded image as a reference-image library.
- Reference videos: when you generate with a video reference, the selected clip is uploaded to private storage and shared with our generation provider through a limited-time link. Reference uploads expire after 24 hours; deletion from storage follows its lifecycle policy and may not be immediate. Your job history retains the input mode and duration, not a reusable reference-video library.
- Combined visual references: Video to Video can include up to four optional images. These images use the same private upload storage, limited-time provider links and 24-hour access expiration as video references. Job history stores the image count and assigned purposes, not image files or retrieval links.
- Billing: order, subscription, payment-status, and credit-ledger records. When checkout is enabled, the configured payment processor handles the payment flow and may receive billing information.
- Technical requests: information needed to serve requests, authenticate access, limit abuse, and diagnose service errors, which can include network and browser information.
Do not put secrets or sensitive personal information in a prompt or upload an image of someone without appropriate permission.
Generation providers and content access
Submitting a job sends your prompt, generation settings, and any reference image to AI Video API or OpenRouter and their selected upstream AI processing partners. The upstream provider processes the input to produce video and optional audio. Review AI Video API privacy policy, OpenRouter's privacy policy and data-collection guidance before sending confidential material. Do not assume that every upstream provider has the same retention or training practices.
VidMake AI associates jobs with the creating account. The video playback and download endpoints check account ownership and stream the generated file from the provider. Job access is not a public gallery publication, but it is not a promise of end-to-end encryption or zero provider retention. A downloaded file can be shared by anyone who has a copy.
Cookies and this device's drafts
Portrait templates: your selected Roadster photo and scene are kept in this tab’s browser session so they can be restored after sign-in. Remove photo clears the local portrait; clearing site data also removes the draft. The photo is sent for generation only when you submit. Submitted portraits may use the same private reference storage and 24-hour link expiration described above; storage deletion can take longer. Processing partners have their own retention and training policies. To request deletion after submission, contact support as described below.
Authentication and language preferences use cookies. Theme preferences and a prompt draft can be stored in your browser. The current draft feature saves prompt text on this device so it can be restored when you return; it does not itself create a server generation job. Other people with access to the same browser profile may be able to see that text. Clearing the site's browser data removes the local draft and may sign you out. Submitting a draft for generation sends it through the provider workflow described above.
VidMake AI uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, navigation, and product engagement. Google Consent Mode defaults analytics storage to denied until you accept the cookie banner; Google may still receive cookieless measurement signals before consent. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences. We do not intentionally send prompts, reference images, generated videos, email addresses, or payment credentials to Analytics. See Google's privacy policy.
Google handles sign-in and shares the basic profile and email information you authorize. PayPal processes checkout and recurring payments; we retain transaction references and payment status, not your PayPal password or full card details. Resend delivers service emails, and Cloudflare hosts the website and database. These providers process the information needed for their respective services under their own privacy terms. Our public support address is support@vidmakeai.com.
Storage, availability, and requests
Account, job, support, and billing records are used to provide the service, resolve failures and disputes, and support operational or legal requirements. This page does not promise a fixed deletion schedule, automatic account erasure, or immediate removal from every provider or backup. Provider-hosted video files may expire or become unavailable; download any completed output you want to keep.
You can ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion by opening a support ticket after signing in. Requests may require identity verification and manual handling. The current interface does not promise a self-service export or automatic deletion function. If you cannot sign in, use the available account-recovery flow first.
Updates and questions
We will update this page when the described workflow changes and show the revision date above. For privacy questions, use VidMake AI support tickets (sign-in required). Read the Terms of Service for generation, billing, and content-use conditions.
